MarkMina Ishak, DO has joined Highpoint Orthopedics and Neurosurgery with Ascension Saint Thomas, previously known as Highpoint Orthopedic Associates with Ascension Saint Thomas. The change in the clinic’s name reflects the expanded services and the arrival of Dr. Ishak. A skillful and compassionate neurosurgeon, Dr. Ishak brings expertise in general neurosurgery, with a specialized focus on complex spine problems and the latest advancements in surgical technology.
Dr. Ishak is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients, prioritizing conservative treatment options before considering surgical intervention. His philosophy centers on patient-centered care, ensuring individuals are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plans.

Dr. Ishak earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He is originally from New York, and spent time practicing in the Hickory, NC area. Dr. Ishak is now accepting new patients at Highpoint Orthopedics and Neurosurgery in Gallatin.
